Jim Gladden, the 58-year-old defensive ends coach, reinforced his status as a Seminole lifer in 1996 when he passed up the Texas A&M defensive coordinator job. Offensive coordinator Mark Richt said no to the Pittsburgh head coaching post. And that's just the recent rejections. Suffice it to say that coaches who work for Bobby Bowden don't leave.
